Taiwan: Day 2

Back with Taiwan: Day 2 Entry! Spent the entire day with ummoneh because she wanted to do some historical sight-seeing. While the rest of #teamahjummas went ahead with their shopping with Wu Fen Pu.

We started off our day with the famous Ah Zhong Mee Sua at Xi Men Ding

Opens at 11am and we managed to be one of the first few to get it :) Hehe managed to break away from the massive queue! If you wanna eat Ah Zhong Mee Sua, try going in the day when it just opens. If not, be prepared to wait for about 30 minutes to 1 hour for your meal!

After which, we took the Metro and Bus to National Palace Museum and spend about half a day over there!  My mom really has a thing for ancient artifacts. Lol I almost died while viewing each room.

Strolling down the palace walkway and feeling like a princess. HAHAHA picture-taking moment.

My mom's mandatory tourist shot at every location she goes. Her legendary twist shot at the NPM.

Took a bus back to Shi Lin Station. We ventured into a small alley filled with food stores. We settled down and ordered the famous Taiwan dish - 卤肉饭!

After which, we took a train down to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall Station to view the Liberty Square! They had a carnival to celebrate their National Day too! It was interesting to see kids playing with bubbles for their National Day.

Took the train back to Xi Men Station and visited Modern Toilet Restaurant. Definitely worth a visit if you want to experience eating from a cubical/toilet bowl!

For day 2, we visited, National Palace Museum, Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall and Modern Toilet Restaurant @ Xi Men Ding.

Till then for Day 3 x
