Taiwan: Day 1

Hi, as promised, I'm back to blogging.

If you read my blog long enough, you will know I've been to Taiwan for a few times. This would be my 3rd time now. #teamahjummas gave me the task to plan the entire trip's itinerary. I took on the tour guide role.

So basically, we took a midnight flight so that we can spend an entire day for sight-seeing. Trust me, midnight flights suck. I can't sleep in peace because throughout my entire flight, there were babies crying. So... Midnight flights would be a nono for me.

When we touched down, I contacted our driver and he brought us to have some yummy breakkie! It was a little too much for us but overall, it was quite good. We had their famous pan-fried dumplings and turkey roll (Turkey meat rolled together with roti prata skin). It is something similar to our kebab!

Enroute to Yehliu Geopark/Jiu Fen. We stopped by the famous Jinguashih “金瓜石” for some photo taking! Above is #teamahjummas!!! I named them that because they were practically twice (or even thrice!) of my age.

Here's my cutesy mom who wanted to do a tourist shot (with her legendary "twist" sign).

.... Yes, still enroute to Yehliu Geopark/Jiu Fen. I wouldn't mind retiring to Taiwan and enjoy the beauty of nature!!

My mom was literally pestering me to take picture for every single thing!! Everything was so beautiful over there :') If you're a nature lover, fly down to Taiwan! I promise you would fall in love with the beauty.

When you reach Jiu Fen, you'll take a walk uphill. Remember to try their famous Fu Zhou Fishballs Set! If you're daring enough, try their BBQ Snail-liked creature. (I was daring enough HAAHAHAH) Once you reach the top, remember to buy back a pack of sweet potato rolls! It's SUPER good!!!

After Jiu Fen, we took a 15 minutes ride up hill to Shi Fen. Managed to see Shi Fen Water Fall too.
Small and tiny.

Shi Fen is famous for setting off lanterns. Remember the scene from 那些年,我們一起追的女孩? They had a lantern scene. We did the same thing as them.
Remember to wear your shades (or your mom's) cause the sun was scorching then!!

For day 1, we visited, YehLiu Geopark, Jiu Fen and Shi Fen.

Day 2 in the next post. Till then X
